Working at Pick-n-Pull is more than a job –
it's a career. A large part of our success depends on developing and retaining
employees that excel in their respective areas. To attain this goal, we offer
our employees many tools and opportunities for career development. Although the
list varies by location and job type, common components include:
- Continuing education programs for employees and managers with topics ranging
from accounting to human resources and beyond.
- Acknowledgement of top employees via our Parts Stars program. Recipients
are voted on by our executive staff and awards are personally presented by our
President and their manager in front of the recipient's peers.
- Sponsorship of top employees and assistant mangers in our Rising Stars
management training program. This is an extensive and diverse training course
where participants are exposed and trained in all aspects of the Pick-n-Pull
business.
- Our Workplace Learning Department, a dedicated resource that helps
individuals develop their career plans.
- A company-wide goal of promoting from within whenever possible.
